Payment Links

APIO allows merchants to create payment links to easily collect payments without requiring a full checkout or subscription flow.

Payment links can be processed using the following payment processors:

  • Webpay Plus
  • Khipu
  • Mercado Pago Checkout Pro

They are ideal for one-time collections, remote payments, or simplified payment experiences.

Key Features​

Payment Configuration​

When creating a payment link, you can configure:

  • Electronic documents
    Define whether an electronic document (invoice, receipt, etc.) is issued once the payment is completed.

  • Payment receipts
    After payment, users can download:

    • The APIO payment receipt, or
    • The associated electronic document (if enabled)

Usage Types​

  • Designed to be used only once
  • Automatically deactivated after a successful payment
  • Commonly used for one-time charges or manual collections

🚨 Important:
If a payment link is deactivated (either automatically after use or manually), it cannot be reactivated. A new payment link must be created.

  • Can be used multiple times
  • Always charge the same amount
  • Useful for offering fixed-price products or services through a shared link

Email Restrictions​

Payment links can be restricted to a specific email address.

  • Only the user whose email matches the one registered in APIO will be able to complete the payment
  • Helps prevent unauthorized usage of the link

Guest Payments​

Unlike subscriptions or charges, payment links support guest payments.

This means:

  • Users do not need an APIO account
  • No prior registration is required
  • The payment can be completed directly through the link

This makes payment links a flexible solution for collecting payments from new or occasional customers.
